THE PLANNER BOX

I'm so excited to tell you all about the August Barmy Fox box...The Planner Box!!!
You know when you haven't typed out anything for a while (because you're being hella lazy regarding all things computer and have just been making and making for the past couple months) and the keys all feel out of place?! That's me at the moment. The backspace button is my BFF but hey, I'm getting it done right?!

Here is the August Planner box!!!! This box was all about planner goodies and stationery items! It was one of my most favourite boxes to make to date, probably because I die over any kind of notebook and new pens.

First up we have the bag of the month! This month was a pencil pouch with colourful macaroons and mint polka dots! To be honest, I wish I would've made one for myself. It's got a blue leather pull and is 9 inches long to include all you planner goodies!

Next is the planner clips! These are freaking HUGE. They are 4 inches long including the felt hand stitched details at the top. BIG. Each box has a check mark clip, for all the things you've got completed (because you're a #girlboss and get shit done!), a 'nope.' clip (for all the things you do not want to do (but have to because you're a #girlboss), and an initial clip. Each person got a different letter for their initial (as seen in first photo)- I love all these personal touches in each box! Each box has the recipients name painted on the inside lid as well, but of course I forgot to take a photo of it :( . Hopefully I'll get some really good box opening photos of everyone's goodies!

These were one of my favourite things to make-the fun painted clothes pin clips! I don't know about you, but I use these for loads of things around the house! To hold chips bags closed (if I don't eat the whole bag), to clip papers together, and when iI'm sewing I even hold my fabric together with them! They are a coral, blue and green colour; two of them have painted details in white and the other in silver. These are so fun and colourful!

When I had the idea of the planner box, I obviously had to include a notebook of some sort. I saw these kraft paper covered blank notebooks and they were perfect. The inside is plain unlined paper, so you can use it as a to-do list book, to sketch in, as a master recipe idea book or shopping list notebook, just to doodle in, as a dream diary (I guess those are popular these days?!) or just to write in! I hand painted a cute little cactus on the cover just because.

Last but certainly not least- WASHI TAPE! Personally I LOVE washi tape. You can use it in soon many ways. I love to seal an envelope with a piece of it. My planner boxes always get sent with some washi tape on it somewhere! They're great for your planner to block out appointments or certain amounts of time. You can put in on clothes pins, make a frame for a piece of artwork, hang up a printable, cover your notebook with it, decorate your phone charger, make dividers for your planner, decorate your light switch and so much more! There are literally endless things you can do with washi tape!!

This is fabric washi tape, which you can use in the same way! If the fabric comes apart from the tape a little when you try to use it, try to peel back a different corner.

And there you have it! The August Planner Box! They're all sent out and should arrive within the next ten days! I cannot wait for you to get them!

I really hope you enjoy all the items in each box! Be sure to share how you use each item with #thebarmyfox and #thebarmyfoxbox so I can see! I can't wait to have a look at the hashtags when you get your boxes! Fill them up with loads of photos!

Now I want to hear from you!!!

What themes would like to see for the next boxes?! What items would you want in each one?! I'd love to hear from you so leave your ideas and suggestions in the comments below!!

Have a fabulous day and leave me some love!
